Tournament Rules

NCAA women's rules will govern the tournament with these exceptions:

**Only players with high school eligibility will be permitted to participate**

Time
The game will consist of two 16 minute halves.
The game clock will stop on every whistle.
The game clock will not stop after a made basket in the last minute of the game (including overtime).
There will be a 10 second time limit in the backcourt.
There will be a 5 second closely guarded on a held ball as well as on the dribble.
Halftime will be 3 minutes in length.
Warm-up will be a minimum of 5 minutes. There will be a maximum warm-up time of 10 minutes.
Overtime
The first two overtime periods will be 2 minutes each.
If any additional overtime period is necessary it will be one minute.
Fouls
Players will be disqualified on their 6th foul of the game.
1 plus the bonus will be shot on the 10th foul of each half.
NO two shot bonus will be in existence.
Time Outs
Each team will be given four 30 second times out.
ONLY THREE of these time outs will carry over in to the second half of the game
An additional time out will be awarded for each team in each overtime period.
Foul Shots
Players may enter the lane on the RELEASE of the free throw.
There may be 4 defensive players and 2 offensive players on the lanes.
Mercy Rule
If a team is ahead by 30+ points in the final five minutes of the game the clock will continue to run until time expires. The clock will stop for foul shots and timeouts.
